kitchen poetry: day 7

I am so happy with my new cupboard and finally finished moving all my china and glass pieces onto its shelves. My little collection of vintage milk glass found a home within the confine of one shelf...there is something comforting about disciplining your collecting habits to one tiny space.

So this is the last day of kitchen poetry. It has been fun but I am gladly going back to my once a week posts....well until the next project...I have some ideas. A big thank you to Toni of simple sparrow for coming up with poetry week.

I like your storage jars. I finished my kitchen poetry a day early as I wanted to commemorate Remembrance Sunday. I'm glad to be going back to once a week or so posting!

There's something luxurious about a neat, tidy kitchen. I am most especially fond of glass jars full of kitchen wonders. :o) And by the way, I think Raina is a lovely name!

I know you've left a couple of comments on my blog. Both times, I've been checking it "really quick" and put looking at your blog on my to-do. I wish I had done it the first time you said hi! Your blog is so nice to scroll through!

I love your spice jars. I have a couple special ones, as well as a handmade ceramic salt dish.

Ah.lovely photos...I like the jars. I have some old glass jars with "Norway" on. They were my grandmothers and I use them for all kind of things. It`s been great fun to join the kitchen poetry week.
I have to tell you that my cousin live in Canada with his Canadian wife. They live in Barrie.I wish I someday can go there to visit them. Have a nice week.

Hi, Raina! Sooo pretty, all your bits and pieces...The milk glass is lovely! My sister used to have a HUGE milk glass collection, lots of great antique pieces. And I like the glass containers, seeing everything...You have such neat, organized taste--I like that! Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS))

"there is something comforting about disciplining your collecting habits to one tiny space" -- isn't that the truth? I have a few collections that need some STERN discipline LOL. Love your pretty milk glass -- I've enjoyed your kitchen poetry posts this week!
