Well, my vacation is over and it is definitely back to reality. Honestly, there is nothing worse than the first day back at work after a fabulous vacation!! I did have a great time in Las Vegas and absolutely shopped my heart out. Someone tell me why I needed three pairs of sun glasses and a pink Coach bag? I have to admit though that it is nice being at home. My garden sprung to life while I was absent, my cat is ecstatic that I am back... and, there is nothing more wonderful than my own bed.
For some reason I feel the 'urge to purge'. My closet that is. I don't know if it's spring or just having purchased things I need to find a home for, I am going through all my clothes this weekend and anything that has not seen the light of day in two years is being discarded. Every now and then I go through this need to cleanse my environment of 'stuff'. I want to see empty surfaces and sparse closets and I go on a de-clutter frenzy. And...I want to finish these amazing green socks I started almost two months ago...ahem....gorgeous leaf pattern. I am also catching up on everyone's blogs... I feel like I dropped out of society - I did not look at a computer for 10 days. I AM glad to be home.

Welcome home, Raina! Kitty love is a grand welcome home. :o) Glad you had a wonderful break. And it's funny what a spring break does...Your purge sounds quite on. Must say, do hope you show off the pink Coach bag...Pink...Coach...Bag...sound like music--LOL! ;o) That leafy socks pattern is lovely. Hope you're having some good days easing back into home life and the usual. Breaks helps us appreciate the usual in a new way, I think, all for the good. We leave for a little trip ourselves on Tuesday. I find a trip is always a great stimulus for creative energy--I'm stoked and have camera and notebook ready. I'm sharing your urge to purge -- maybe we should have some sort of closet challenge or something? My urge came from helping our kids move this weekend -- holy cow, they had accumulated a ton of stuff for only being married one year. It made me want to come home and get rid of ALL my junk -- and there is a TON of it. Ewwwww. Glad you're back -- you've been missed. (Oh, and that sock is gorgeous!)

Glad you had a great holiday. We drove from Tucson to Vegas a few years ago. I couldnt believe how far it was! We had a fab time!
Is that flower a Geum? It looks just like a plant that we had in our front garden when I was a kiddie. Brought back memories.
