i'm dreaming of a white Christmas

We are in the midst of a blizzard and lucky me because I am sitting at home in warmth surrounded by Christmas lights. It is on very cold days like this that I often count my blessings that I have a home and family and friends and I feel very lucky indeed.

I promised you some Christmas corners...it seems that my decorations are all white this Christmas! So fitting for a day like today. I like how the snowman seems to be floating on my glass-top sideboard. The simplicity of white is a welcome respite from the chaos of renovations.

Happy weekend all.

What a beautiful and cozy setting to ride out a Blizzard!

I hope there's some hot chocolate or spiked egg nog in your evening plans to help keep the cold at bay ;)

Well you certainly are a good sport about the blizzard. Thank goodness for knitting and good friends. Sending warm thoughts your way.

Gorgeous pics! Makes me want to cuddle up with hot tea and a quilt, and knit until I can't keep my eyes open anymore. Then again... I pretty much want to do that all winter long! :)

Three years ago we were undergoing renovations at Christmas. I, too, chose the simplicity of white to distract from the chaos around me. I send you peace and love from afar. x

I'm sending you some sunshine and warm, balmy air from Florida! I'm glad I can come here to enjoy a white Christmas. Your picture are, as usual, lovely. Looking at them makes me smile much wider than shovelling the stuff!

Be keeping snug and cozy, Raina...and safe from the blizzard! We've had a little bit of snow here, but no blizzard thankfully! Love these sparkling glimpses of your Christmas decorating--really delight in white, silver and aqua/turquoise together...mmm... Here's to the season! :o) ((HUGS))

Isn't Etsy Christmas shopping fun?

I love the tones in these shots. Well, at least you can have the true Christmas feeling on the outside with blizzard conditions even if you still don't have it on the inside!

I'm glad you're home where it's nice and warm. :-) Perfect place to be when it's snowing, in my opinion. Make sure you have your hot cocoa.

It's so nice to be in a warm home with a cup of tea (or cider!) while the storm blazes outside, no?

BTW, don't miss the luxurious giveaway on my blog...
