the weather outside is frightful...

I can't believe this but here I am posting on a Thursday. That has not happened in many, many a months. We have had pretty much an ongoing series of days with cold, snow and commuting that would raise the hairs on the back of your neck. We are desperately trying to finish our baseboards, but when you get home at eight o'clock at night, the last thing you feel like doing is painting! I am hopeful that we can do a huge push and have things finished off this weekend - cross my fingers and toes.

In the meantime, I have been picking up my camera again and pointing the lens at anything that I deem 'picture-worthy'. The only problem now is that I look at some of these Christmas corners, which right now only comprise two rooms, and I am so impatient to get the rest of the house decorated. Actually, I am impatient to be able to just clean the rest of the house and get the shoe rack out of my living room!

Happy weekend all.

Driving in bad weather is frightening. I once drove 4 hours in white-out conditions and was practically shaking by the time I made it home.

I'm pulling for you to finish this weekend!!!

Oh, I can SO relate to this post. Just putting up the tree forced us to clean up the one undecorated room where unwanted furniture goes to die. It's so cheery now. I know it won't last, but it makes me smile until the holidays are over we get back to painting baseboards. ICK! Lovely photos as always.
