This weekend I:
... am baking bread
... got my first-ever manicure, milky pink nail polish, in this color,
... a reward for breaking a bad habit - can you guess which one?
... purchased new pink hyacinths for my dining room table
... looking at real knitting patterns here
... specifically, this one
... in the mood to knit something interesting
... and, maybe bake something like this
happy weekend everyone.

Looks like you are having a wonderful weekend so far! Lawrence is very to my taste too! These flowers pink is incredible!
what a fabulous weekend!
so much creativity and beauty :-)
Sounds like a wonderful weekend to me! Enjoy!
Ummmm.... biting your nails???
That banana cake looks awesome! I'm not sure I've ever baked with cardamom -- I need to look into this!
Good choice, I have been looking at Brooklyn Tweed for a while too, I would call his designs sophisticated. Do you know The Shetland Trader book? You need to google it, the guy behind Brooklyn Tweed did photography.
Pink is such a lovely shade and I think we're finally able to get over it's negative connotations and appreciate it for its true beauty. I hope you got to cast on Lawrence and baked the banana bread -- both are super yummy.
That is fantastic that you got your first manicure. They are quite wonderful and I love that color.
Can't see what you decide to knit from Wool people. I would have a hard time deciding since I am in love with every pattern.
lovely pinks
pretty mani colour too
GORGEOUS pinks, Raina...the hyacinths and the nail polish! You know my passion for things pink. ;o) I've not worn nail polish for years, as I tend to keep my nails short for all the fiddly art/craft work I do. Plus, not always easy to come by eco-friendly polishes. I love Brooklyn Tweed, such beautiful sophisticated patters. That cowl neck tunic is wonderful--so is the blue color it's featured in. This past weekend we did an art gallery visit. And I cast on to knit a shawl for a friend I just found out has cancer--hoping the citrus-y orange & pink yarn's colorway will cheer. Oh, many thanks on your kind thought about my new art & shop creations. :o) Happy week ((HUGS))
Sounds like the perfect weekend! Beautiful tones/shades in those photographs...and that sweater you are considering knitting? I love that pattern...I hope you decide to start it!
Beautiful!
Such a pretty pink, and cardamom and banana -- excellent idea.
Potted hyacinths are one of the real joys of late winter. Love the colour of yours. Sounds like a lovely weekend - and I love the look of that pattern - it would look great on you I think.
I love pink - my absolute most favorite color in the entire spectrum! Congratulations on not biting your digits so that they could get "dressed up pretty", as Hobbit would say.
I love that sweater - the short sleeves and that amazingly structured cowl neck. You have such exquisite taste.
Pretty! Your nails must look lovely, have you given up biting them? I used to bite mine! It is nice to see taht you are thinking about knitting again, I always liked your knits.
