just another lazy sunday
Filling you in on my Sunday fun. I have a few of these crochet squares. They are fun to make...no pressure...you just keeping going around till you have a big square. Don't know where the pattern came from as it was quite a few years ago I made some of these and I used the pattern to learn how to crochet. It was off some YouTube video I found. I can't even remember the name of the granny square, but I thought it would be nice to eventually join them by mixing in some plain colored squares and make a blanket. I also have theses little crochet flowers I made a while back. They are from Attic24; I love this blog as the tutorials are amazing. Sewn to the middle of the squares, the blanket will be very boho chic. Sometimes more is better!
This weekend we are just lounging around the garden - a rare treat. The week has been insane and the respite of just doing blessed nothing is wonderful.
Happy weekend all.

It's so nice to see you back here Raina. Your blocks are beautiful -- I love the little flowers. Our week last week was insane too -- hoping a calm peaceful week for you this week. (Do I hear you snickering???)
Beautiful crochet squares, they'll make a fab afghan!
Slow weekend round ours, nothing big happening apart from the Wimbledon finals!! :)
No presseure squares are the best. They will make up a perfectly boho chic blanket. Wishing you a wonderfully peaceful week!
What a sweet day... and glorious images, Raina! Love your crochet--those colors are juicy and delicious! Thank you for the Attic24 link, I'd lost track of that somehow for crochet tutorials--which I need very much being not a very great crocheter. ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
