weekending

Finally a weekend at home! So exciting....I was running around with my camera re-learning what my home looks like. The Babe was busy pouring a new patio in the backyard and I am so looking forward to spring when I can enjoy it....I know, pathetic. We have had our first snow and there is a long winter ahead.

I am home for the next six weeks and intend on enjoying every moment...maybe even baking some bread and trying out a few new recipes. I have been taking Heather's whole food cooking course and I am loving all the tips and recipes presented.

Happy weekend all!

I love your photographs. They are always so beautiful. Enjoy your six weeks - and your snowfall! Remember, there are those of us who would love nothing more than a bit of snow instead of these swealtering 90F days. Let me know when you'd like to trade - I'll keep a bag packed by the door, just in case.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend. And what a wonderful little 'present' to have waiting for you to use next spring. :)

Snow already... yikes! We've had frost, but no snow yet, but it's been cold...bbbrrr...We've been getting the garden tidy end-of-season. ENJOY your time home, Raina. :o) ((HUGS))

Wow. Your first snow! Time marches on. I love winter, but I'm not sure I'm ready just yet. Have fun being home!

Nice. That's how I feel each time I either come back home to West Cottage in E or home here. That re-discovery of home and the light and camera at the ready. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy it. :)
