Buying apples grown in our neighbouring province, making strudel - the house smelled of cinnamon for days. Just some of my activities last week. This truly is a wonderful time of year. I use phyllo pastry to make my apple strudel - the trick is to sprinkle a bit of sugar in between each sheet of phyllo. Usually there is a recipe on the box of the dough and that is the one I follow. Cannot believe Halloween is just around the corner - why is it that each year seems to go by faster and faster.
